The North Fork Long Island AVA (American Viticultural Area) is home to more than 40 wineries and tasting rooms and craft distilleries.
Vine + Sand is centrally located along the North Fork Wine Trail in the hamlet of Southold, the oldest English settlement in the state of New York, dating back to 1640.

Vine + Sand welcomes guests to a unique bed and breakfast experience that merges contemporary art and design in a modernized historic farmhouse setting. Our original 1820s farmhouse, meticulously renovated, celebrates its history with restored 200-year-old architectural details and original wood floors. Modern art and lighting figure prominently in the interiors and art hangs throughout our guest rooms, halls, Sitting Room and Great Room.

We offer four large deluxe guest rooms, filled with natural light, and private en-suite baths. Our rooms are thoughtfully furnished for comfort with elegant, eclectic, and sophisticated pieces. Bathrooms feature a clawfoot tub or rain showers, Aesop amenities and all the accoutrements for a relaxing stay.

The Outdoors
We offer a range of outdoor activities for our guests. Go for a swim or relax by the pool and spa, with outdoor shower. Outdoor seating areas include the pergola, fire pit and front porch. V+S custom beach cruisers are available to explore the nearby hamlets, wineries and beaches.
